Dog Boarding

Our canine guests enjoy spacious, private rooms including raised beds, plush bedding, TVs, calming sound machines, daily housekeeping, and more. An activity is included in all of our boarding stays with plenty of upgrade options for social and non-social guests.

Nothing beats the comfort of home, but we like to think we come pretty darn close. From cozy bungalows to our ultra-indulgent luxury suites, we’re confident that your pooch is going to have one doggone good time! Our goal is to provide your precious pup with a quiet, clean, and calming environment where they can relax, run around, meet new friends, and get spoiled by our staff.

The Ruffin' It Pledge

We understand how important your pets are to you, and how difficult it is when you have to leave them behind. That’s why it’s our mission to ensure that each and every one of our guests are spoiled, just like they are at home! While we can never replace the true comfort of staying in their own home, we hope to provide them with a place to stay that’s second best! You can have peace of mind knowing that your canine companion can be escorted outside several times a day. We believe that part of their comfort of staying with us is to not be cooped up in their rooms the whole day.

Boarding Cancellation Policy

If our guests could talk, we’re pretty confident they’d tell you how much they love spending time at Ruffin’ It Resort! As a result of our popularity among Madison’s doggy-crowd, we do enforce a 48-hour cancellation policy. A current credit card or one day deposit is required to hold your reservation. We understand that sometimes plans change, however, any alterations made to reservations without a 48-hour prior notice will be charged a cancellation fee of one day of boarding.

Holiday Boarding Cancellation Policy

Holidays are a busy time for everyone, us included! A current credit card or two day deposit is required to hold your reservation. During this time, we require that any cancellations be made 7 days in advance. Any alterations made to reservations without a 7-day prior notice will be charged a cancellation fee of two days of boarding. Contact us for exact dates as they change yearly.

The 7-day cancellation policy is in effect for the following holidays:

  • Spring Break

  • Memorial Day weekend

  • Independence Day weekend

  • Labor Day weekend

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas/New Year’s

Holiday Hours:

  • Memorial Day: Closed

  • 4th of July: Closed

  • Labor Day: Closed

  • Thanksgiving Day: Closed

  • Christmas Eve: 7-10am, No Daycare

  • Christmas Day: Closed

  • New Year’s Day: Closed
