Ruffin' It Resort's Canine Caretakers:

Angela Dallman

Master Canine Caretaker/Client Service Specialist

Angela was born and raised in Madison and always had a passion for animals.  Angela is certified in pet CPR and first aid and is currently working towards her certification as a Veterinary Assistant.  She says she is partial to the Vizsla because they have a perfect mixture of goofy playfulness and sweet cuddliness.  She also happens to have a Vizsla of her own, named Maverick.  Whenever she needs a pick me up, she says there is always a dog near by to give a kiss and a nudge under the chin and make everything right in the world again.  Angela has been a significant part of the Ruffin' It team since the very beginning back in 2006.

Danielle Leverich

Master Canine Caretaker

Danielle is from Reeseville, Wisconsin and moved to Madison to attend the UW.  She just graduated from the UW with a BS in Animal Science.  (Congratulations Danielle!)  To further her education, Danielle is now planning to enroll in the Vet Tech program at MATC.  She is certified in pet CPR and first aid and has been with Ruffin' It since 2006!  She loves getting to know all of the unique doggie personalities  and learning about dog behavior.  Danielle has an English Pointer, named Doc, that lives with her parents and on her free time she enjoys photography.

Emma Weidemann

Master Canine Caretaker

Emma was born and raised in Madison. She has always had a passion for helping animals and began volunteering at Dane County Humane Society in high school. Emma attended UW-Madison and graduated with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. After graduation she got a job at Ruffin' It Resort as a Canine Caretaker where she further grew her love for animals. Emma continues to volunteer at Dane County Humane Society as a Canine Behavior Team Assistant. She is certified in pet first aid and CPR from the Red Cross. Emma loves spending time at Ruffin' It Resort and being able to build individual bonds with all Ruffin' It's guests. She lives in Madison with her two dogs, Bailyn, a Puggle and Gracie, a Pit Bull mix and her four rats.

Alicia Guzman

Master Canine Caretaker

Alicia grew up in Chicago and lived in Fort Collins, Colorado for a year and a half while attending CSU.  She transferred to UW-Madison and graduated in May 2009 with a Bachelors of Science with a degree in Zoology.  She would love to make a career out of educating people about animals and what we can do to help them.  She recently adopted a puppy named Roxi and enjoys taking hikes with her around Madison.  Alicia has been certified in pet first and and CPR.

Brittney Falkowski

Master Canine Caretaker

Brittney is originally from Rockford, Illinois but grew up in Madison.  Her two favorite things in the world are dogs and the outdoors and would like to incorporate both into her future career.  Brittney came to Ruffin' It with a lot of experience from working at another boarding facility and has been working with dogs for a total of four years.  Her favorite aspect of Ruffin' It is being able to watch the dogs interact but also caring for them, playing with them, and helping them learn obedience and proper manners.  She finds it very gratifying to help a shy/timid dog come out of their shell and open up.  Brittney is certified in Pet First Aid and CPR from the Red Cross and has a beautiful Boxer mix named Zuri.

Emily Syring

Canine Caretaker

Emily graduated from Stoughton High School in 2010 and started working at Ruffin' It shortly after.  She has always had a love for animals and a passion for caring for them which stemmed from childhood and growing up with her Golden Retriever, Liberty.  Emily's favorite thing about working at Ruffin' It is getting to see all the various doggy personalities and the positive and welcoming work atmosphere.  Her favorite breed are Australian Shepherds because of their friendly and playful disposition.
